Brief Bio & PHOTOS
Big Bad started out as an MC before playing instruments. After a brief membership in the MF DOOM affiliated rap group the Monsta Island Czars, an appearance on BET’s Freestyle Friday and the release of one album “Another Mans Treasure: Sextape Vol. 1”, featuring J Dilla, Kool G Rap & Renee Francisco, he put down the microphone and picked up the drum sticks, as well as the guitar, harmonica, and a few other instruments. “I had an internal conflict regarding my status as a musician. My father was an accomplished pianist, across the street from where I grew up you’d see college kids walking around with guitars & as good as I got as a rapper, I knew I’d never be part of that world as long as I was only rapping.”
After honing his skills alone, Baragon began playing with other local musicians, which then led him to session work, which gave him the money necessary to form 7he 7eam through their first line up and now into their second. He is currently working on his follow up album “One Mans Trash: Sextape Vol. 2” with producer DJ Husky, doing session work, and, of course, Rocking with 7he 7eam! |
