Brief Bio & PHOTOS
The de facto leader of 7he 7eam, Emile put the group together initially as a means of strengthening his already lengthy portfolio. Having made strides in the fields of athletics and modeling, his current foray into the world of entertainment came as a result of his corporate ambitions. "As the President of CUNY Brooklyn, one of my many responsibilities is booking talent for events." Emile explains. "It was becoming increasingly difficult to book reliable and/or entertaining groups. People would cancel the day of the event, they'd arrive late, etc., so I decided if I wanted the job done right I'd best do it myself, and here we are." Partnering with various music promoters around NYC, Emile learned enough about the music business to put his own group together, first meeting member Big Bad Baragon at a party in Brooklyn where Baragon and one of Emile's artists were booked, though they wouldn't join forces until years later. "I enjoy what we do, and I like the fact that I can be successful in so many ventures. This one I particularly enjoy for various reasons, but let's just say women still appreciate a man who can pluck at their heart while he plucks his guitar strings. The money isn't bad, either."
